We always try to ensure that Bolt remains the most affordable and pocket-friendly way to move around Lagos.
However, we also recognise the recent changes to the operating costs that drivers incur while driving with Bolt. These increases mean that pricing adjustments are needed to allow drivers to continue to make sustainable earnings. As a result, you will be able to continue to move around reliably while your rides remain affordable.
To reflect these changes, Bolt fares will increase slightly starting from the 19th of October 2020.
You can see the updated prices for the base fare, minimum fare and kilometre and minute fee from the table below.
Besides the price change update, we also have other news! Starting from today, you can order a Corporate ride-type from the Bolt app.
How is a Corporate ride different from a regular Bolt ride?
The new Corporate ride-type features our highest-rated drivers and will be restricted to those using in-app payment methods only (i.e. those paying by credit/debit card or via their Bolt Business account). You can see the prices for Bolt Corporate from the table above.
Give Corporate a try and let us know about your experience by rating your trip!
Thank you for choosing us! So, whenever you need a ride, be sure to take a Bolt.
And, if you haven’t yet, download the app to get going!
