We’re excited to announce that we’ve launched our second service in Brussels — ride-hailing! Along with Bolt’s micromobility services, you can enjoy fast, convenient, and affordable rides at the tap of a button. 

Our goal is to offer a high-quality ride-hailing service to riders and the opportunity to make extra money for drivers. 

A way to make extra money

Offering Bolt drivers fairer earnings, allowing them to support their families and fulfil their dreams, is at the centre of everything we do. This is why Bolt drivers only pay 15% commission on the trips they’ve completed.

Affordable ride prices

Another thing we strive for is affordable, safe, and fast transportation. 

We’re launching ride-hailing across 4 different categories: Bolt, Van, Taxi and Premium: 

• The Bolt category offers fast and convenient rides at the following price: the starting fee is 1€, the fee for each kilometre is 1.25€ and it’s 0.3€ for each minute during the ride. The minimum cost of a trip is 8€.
• The Van category is a great option for larger groups and fits up to 6 riders. The starting fee is 1.9€, the fee for each kilometre is 1.9€ and it’s 0.4€ for each minute during the ride. The minimum cost of a trip is 10€.
• The Taxi rides with Bolt cost 2.4€ (4.4€ after 10 p.m.), the fee for each kilometre is 1.8€ and it’s 0.2€ for each minute during the ride. 
• The Premium category offers high-quality cars to arrive in style. The starting fee is 1.5€, the fee for each kilometre is 1.6€ and it’s 0.4€ for each minute during the ride. The minimum cost of a trip is 8.5€.

To celebrate the launch of ride-hailing in Brussels, riders will get 70% off their first 5 rides.
