Did your Bolt driver get you to your destination safely and quickly? Did they keep up the good mood or let you enjoy your much-needed silence after a long day? Whatever they did, you can now give them an extra thanks by leaving them a tip after your ride. Here’s how it works…
Here’s what you need to do:
100% of your tip will be sent to the driver. After all, they earned it!
The past few weeks have been tiring and uneasy for us all. Especially so for all of the Bolt drivers out on the front line, making sure that people can move around their cities as safe and quickly as possible.
As a token of our gratitude, and in addition to launching the Driver Tipping features, we’re going to match the first tip of each rider (up to £10). This offer begins on 8th June 2020 and will last until 21st June 2020.
Here’s a big shout out to all of the Bolt drivers out there — thank you for your effort, dedication and for everything you do!
Tipping is a bit like brushing your teeth — we all know it’s important, but we still debate how long we have to brush for. Are 2 minutes enough? Is 10% of the total cost about right? How much should you tip?
First of all, please remember that tipping is always optional. However, if you wish to express your thanks with a bit of an extra, then don’t feel shy and go for it!
How much you tip can be based on a lot of things — the service, your mood or the situation you’re in. The rule of thumb is to listen to your heart and tip as much as you feel comfortable with. Whatever the amount, it will certainly please the driver and let them know that they’re doing a great job.
In addition to talking about tipping, we’d like to remind everyone of the importance of saying thanks. It may seem like the smallest of actions but it can have a BIG influence. So, next time you step out of the car after a great Bolt ride, don’t forget to thank the driver.
